At first, the centered image may appear disturbing or gruesome, but when you think about it, what else would you expect from title that puts H.R. Giger completely in charge of the game’s artwork? And from an artist that mainly dabbles in fetishistic sexual imagery and other forms of art not safe for work, this beast-woman’s safety pin impaled face seems a bit on the tame side.

Aside from the unsettling inlay, the gold backdrop adds an eerie warmth to the cover, while the strategically placed cursive copy rounds off the story book feel to this nightmarish sequel.
